Whip It Real Good: How to make whipped coffee (Dalgona Coffee)

Hello, I am That Dope Mom and I am fueled by coffee. I enjoy my coffee, hot, iced, frozen, and now whipped! I know you have seen it all over the internet, on your favorite influencers Instagram. It goes by many names, Dalgona Coffee, Beaten Coffee, Frappe Coffee, and now Whipped Coffee thanks to TIKTOK.

With three simple ingredients and a few minutes you can be enjoying this aesthetically pleasing yummy goodness yourself.

 All You Need It:
1. Instant Coffee
2. Sugar
3. Hot Water

How to make it?
For a single serving. Add two scoops of INSTANT COFFEE, two scoops of sugar, and two tablespoons of hot water to a clean bowl and whip it together. You can use a hand mixer to make the whipping process easier, but a spoon will do just fine. I used a spoon and survived and if I can do with you can too. Once everything is whipped to that pillowy consistency, grab some ice, 1 cup of your desired milk, and drizzle it on top. Using your spoon or reusable straw stir together and enjoy.
When I made a glass myself and shared it to my Instagram stories, like the professional influencer I am (just kidding and if you know me you know that was a joke…I’m the worst lol) I got asked a ton of questions so I’ll answer the main ones here.

Do you have to use cow’s milk?
No, use whatever you normally drink. We drink almond milk in my home, well four out of five us do, and I tell you that combination was AMAZING!

Can you use a sweetener replacement?
YES YOU CAN. As long as it is granulated, you can use what you want.

Does it have to be instant coffee?
Yes, from what I have seen it must be instant coffee. Feel free to use whatever brand you like, it can even be decaf, but it must be instant coffee.

Pimp My Whipped Coffee
I have had a few friends mention adding additional items that kicked things up a notch. A pinch of cinnamon, a drizzle of caramel, even chocolate. I haven’t tried any extras myself yet but I plan to really soon.

Whipped Coffee can also be used for other things. You can use it as a dip for freshly baked cookies, a topping for yummy brownies, or even enjoy it with warm fruit bread, like your favorite banana bread.

All in all, whipped coffee, or whatever name you choose to call it, it delicious, easy to make, and can be enjoyed anyway you see fit. If you have tried it with other treats or pimped your whipped coffee and found a delicious combination share it below sis. We trying to ride this whipped coffee wave right into summer.
