That Dope Mom Uniform: Five Things I'll Be Wearing This January

"I want a girl with extensions in her hair

Bamboo earrings, at least two pair

A Fendi bag and a bad attitude

That's all I need to put me in a good mood." - L.L. Cool J

A few years back I shared a post all about my "Dope Mom Uniform", you can check it out here. While a few things have changed, the main idea surrounding my dope mom uniform remains the same, comfort and ease above all. Of course, it wouldn't be a dope mom uniform without being dope. The pieces may change over the seasons and years but my undying need for comfort and ease will never. It's the first month of the new year and I'm excited to share with you all five things I'll be wearing this month.

First up, has to be cozy three-piece sets. As a stay at home/work from home mom I spend a lot of time home especially during these colder months, but that doesn't mean I want to be in my pajamas all day. These three pieces sets are not only comfortable they help me feel put together even on slow days.

Next, we have the fuzzy cap. I don't know what it is about cold weather and the teddy material but this texture during this time of year is everything to me. One of the easiest ways to upgrade or change up a staple in your everyday wardrobe is by changing the texture,

Then we have the bubble vest. Whether it's over sized or cropped there is something about a bubble vest that just gives your look style. Versatile and easy to wear I am personally loving these vests at the moment.

Of course, I cannot mention items I'm wearing this month without talking about the Chunky Chealsea Boot. If you know me, you know I'm sneaker girl that also loves a good boot. The Chunky Chealsea boot can be dressed up or down and I'm here for anything that can take me from the school pick up line to happy hour effortlessly.

Last but certainly not lease, I am all about these quilted pattern shoulder bags. Big enough to hold all my mommy must haves but stylish enough to make any outfit pop. Once again, I have to say, it's the texture for me.

Whether you are a fashion girl, or basic, classic, or trendy, how you dress is personal to you. Your style is uniquely you. Like what you like, rock what makes you feel good and most of all have fun with it!
