It’s that time of year again… back-to-school, and we are super excited! With the back-to-school season in full swing now is the perfect time to share with you guys my back-to-school shoe favorites. This is such a fun post for me because like when I was in school myself, back-to-school shopping is one of my favorite things about to start of a new school year. I’ve teamed up with my friends over at Jenzy to share with you my top five back-to-school shoe picks. The top three things I consider when back-to-school shoe shopping is style, comfort, and ease. Lucky for me I get all three when shopping on They have all the top brands my kids love with all the ease of shopping that I need.

In my home we have always used back to school shopping as a way to get the kids excited about the new school year. While we want to them have fun picking out shoes that show off their individual personalities, we always want the actual shopping process to go as smooth as possible. As a mom of three I know firsthand just how overwhelming back-to-school shopping can get. I eliminate the stress by shopping for shoes. I can shop right from the comfort of my home, and they make the process so easy. I don’t even have to worry about what size shoe the kids are currently in or what size I should get in different brands. After answering a few quick questions with Jenzy’s fit quiz they are able to figure out what shoe size my kids wear across multiple brands. I mean how amazing is that?

Back-To-School Round Up

Ok, so now that I’ve put you on to where I shop for the kids back-to-school shoes I’ll share with you my top five picks! These picks are in no particular order, the are all must haves in my opinion.

HUNTER First Classic Rain Boots

Hunter Boots-

Living in Florida known as the sunshine state it’s important to know that along with sunshine comes rain. Constantly, randomly, sporadically, if you know you know and if you don’t, I’m here to tell you, it is constantly raining here. Rainboots should be at the top of every Florida parent/ guardian back to school shoe list.

VANS classic-slip-on

Slip-on Vans-

My children range from ages thirteen to six and these are all of their favorite style of Van sneakers. I love them because they not only seem to be in style every school year, but they are an extremely vertical sneaker. These sneakers pair well with everything! Also, a teacher friend of my mine once told me if your child can not tie their own shoe yet it’s very helpful to send them to school in shoes that does not require laces. For some reason this tip has always stuck with me so if you have smaller children who hasn’t mastered the art of tying their shoes, I highly suggest you add slip-on Vans to your list as well.

Chuck Taylor-all-star

It’s the versatility for me. A classic in my book these affordable must haves are always in style. They can be worn with school uniforms, dresses, shorts, jeans, and skirts. I mean you can truly pair these sneakers with anything, and they will look good. Not to mention they are one of the most affordable sneaker brands out there.

Dr. Martens 1461

Dr. Martens 1461

This school year we have children that will still be wearing school uniforms and we have children that no longer have to wear uniforms and they both love these shoes. There is something about a classic oxford shoe that just screams back to school in my opinion and I’m here for it. Who knew the day would come where me, my mom, and my daughters would all agree on the same style of back-to-school shoes?

Dr. Marten 1460-boot

Dr. Martens 1460 Boot

Sticking with the Dr. Marten brand I’m round things up with a boot. In my option you can’t complete a back-to-school round up without adding a great quality boot to the list. Like many of the other options I’ve mentioned the 1460 Dr. Marten boot are so versatile. They can be worn with many different looks including school uniforms which makes them a must have in my book. I love options that can be mixed and matched during the school year throughout the different seasons.

Whatever the new school year looks like to you and your family it is important each child starts the year off on the right foot! I hope you all found this post to be helpful with picking out amazing shoes to step into the new school year. Don’t forget to check out for a stress-free shopping experience.
