Peep S'more Dip

Peep This! The kids made Peep s’mores dip and it was amazing! Not only do the kids think it taste delicious, but they had a great time making it. I must confess before I go any further that I am not a fan of peeps. I know I know but in my defense I’m not big on marshmallows either. One of my daughters doesn’t like peeps also, she’s not big on anything that taste too sweet, but she really enjoyed this dip. With only three ingredients and four simple steps this had to be one of the easiest treats we’ve made together thus far. So easy in fact I stepped back and let the kids take the lead. The only thing I did was place the baking dish inside the oven and take it out when it was done.

Like most other children my kids absolutely love cooking and I enjoy cooking with them. My youngest has dreams of being a chef one day so that only inspires us to get together and cook even more. There are so many benefits to cooking with kids. You can help increase their math and reading skills, Help learn to focus and pay attention, and even boost their confidence.

Like I mentioned earlier this recipe is one of the easiest I’ve ever done. To get started…

Instructions
We started by coating the baking pan with butter. We then layered one layer of milk chocolate chips on the bottom. Once the chocolate chips were evenly spread out, we lined the top of them with bright Easter color peeps. I placed the dip in the oven at 450 F° for about 5-7 minutes. Cooking degrees and time may vary depending on your oven and the amount of dip you make. Once it was nice and toasted, I removed the dish, wearing an oven mitt, and let it rest for a few minutes. I then served it with a side of graham crackers. Caution the dish may still be hot!

Enjoy!
