The Great Adventures of DaBrattPack: Whits Frozen Custard

(we were gifted this visit to whits frozen custard to review but all opinions are my own)
I scream You scream We all scream for frozen custard? Yes! Whits Frozen Custard is a must-visit while in Jacksonville. If you are a local you probably have already heard of this gem of a place.

Originating from Ohio this family-owned business opened its doors in Jacksonville May of 2014. The first Whits was located in Atlantic Beach. Now there are several locations all over Jacksonville. We visited the Avondale location a few days ago and I must say they did not disappoint. Set up on the cutest block in Avondale the shop itself is what you would want in a frozen custard shop. There is seating outside for a nice day, and a cute little set up on the side with a few tables. A couple of stools lining the larger window seal gives you the perfect view to that cute little block I mentioned earlier. I love the little vintage touch they give with the neon frozen custard sign displayed on the wall. I’m a sucker for little details like that.

With a large range of goodies, there was something for everyone! Whether you order a cup, cone, or even an ice cream sandwich you won’t be disappointed. Everything is made fresh and you can tell in the taste.

While you’re there don’t forget to check out the flavor of the day. Oh, and I almost forgot you can enjoy Whits in the comfort of your own home. Check out Whits To Go the next time you visit.

If you’re visiting from out of town or a Jacksonville local be sure to try Whits Frozen Custard.
